GIRLS IN THE GAME

From a school court to provincial colours.

The Curro Delft handball pilot began in 2022. The academy's girls' team went unbeaten through 2025; three players earned national selection, and the full girls' team was selected for provincial representation twice. Five boys from the pathway also earned provincial selection.

In 2023, Curro documented five Delft learners joining Thunderbolts at the 50th Interamnia World Cup in Italy. In 2025, ten more learners represented the academy there.
